Sculptures

The shaping of things with my hands, the forming of matter and the creation of new forms was something that was with me from a very early stage in my life. I first discovered clay, developed small sculptures, but also got to know and appreciate working with the wheel. How alive the clay feels here!
Sculptures and objects made of stone, plaster and wood were added later.

However, individual objects are also a combination of several materials, such as the interactive sculpture Die Filmschnecke, constructed from cardboard and metal elements ... or fragile creatures made of concrete and metal mesh.
Exploring and working with different combinations of materials developed particularly through my architectural studies at University of Arts Berlin (UdK Berlin).

During my training and apprenticeship as a metalworker, larger sculptures and works in metal were added.

...and a new idea/vision for a project is in the air, inspired by the organisation Chaos Computer Club, who's just got into the smart age of 42 – Happy Birthday!! :-D
